Several of these functions cannot be enabled until you have WordPress
installed on your own
server, but I wanted to make note of them now:
Blog by Email – This allows you to make posts to the blog via Email.
User Levels – Table outlining different user levels to a blog.
Custom Fields
– This function allows you to add custom fields to your Posts. Similar
to adding a field to a plug-in, the custom field will show up on the
‘Write Post’ form.
Customizing Templates – This function allows you to customize the blog templates to fit the design of the site it is being used on.
Threaded Comments
– This guy built a plug-in that allows your comments to be displayed as
threaded. I like this option since it allows you to reply to someone
elses comment.
Formatting Comments – Haven’t been able to track anything down that
allows a editor to be used on the ‘Post Comment’ form. This would be
handy… although there is an editor when you ‘Managed’ comments.
